Join the Barrie Run for Pole Pole! Support the Pole Pole Foundation, a Democratic Republic of Congo based not-for-profit with a focus on ape conservation. Join the 10k run/walk organized by Canadian volunteer Michelle DeJardine on the scenic waterfront in Barrie, Ontario.

Michelle was inspired after hearing Lisa Shannon speak about the Zerofootprint Foundation’s projects supporting Pole Pole at our event in May. Through the Barrie Run for Pole Pole, she is collecting donations to build schools and hire teachers for the children of Kahuzi Biega park rangers who protect their natural habitat.
